1. What is a mesh belt dryer?
The mesh belt dryer is an industrial drying equipment that uses a steel mesh as a conveyor belt and a heat source to achieve continuous drying of materials. It can be set to different lengths and multiple layers according to the characteristics of the raw materials and production requirements to achieve the purpose of drying. The drying process is fully guaranteed with controllable speed, temperature and air volume.
2. What is the basic structure and working principle of the mesh belt dryer?
2-1: Structural composition of mesh belt dryer;
Driven system: motor&reducer , the head and tail of the dryer;
Drying box: hot air channel and water vapor outlet channel;
Material Carrier: steel mesh, which can be ordinary carbon steel or stainless steel;
Heat source and hot air system: the main device that generates heat, the fuel can be coal, wood, gas, oil, steam, etc.;
Dehumidification device: including dehumidification channel and fan, etc.;
Dust removal system: cyclone dust removal and water dust removal can be selected, customized according to different needs;
Control system: PLC automatic control, the operation of the complete system is visible, controllable and adjustable;
2-2: Operation Designing:
Hot air operation path: room temperature air is heated by the heat source system, and blown into the drying box through the hot air fan through the hot air channel and internal pipes, contacting the material from bottom to top, and heating the material during the contact process to achieve the purpose of evaporating water. The evaporated water vapor is discharged through the dehumidification channel.
Material operation path: the material is laid flat on the mesh belt, and moves with the mesh belt from the head to the tail, from the first layer to the bottom layer until it reaches the discharge port;

Application: Wet charcoal briquettes drying purpose, such as pillow/oblate/oval/egg shape BBQ briquettes,Cylinder/Hexagonal BBQ briquettes, hookah briquettes and so on.
Advantage:
This series dryer are special designed for the charcoal briquettes based on charcoal briquettes high moisture content and low light temperature, and strong moisture grasping ability. Taking full account of temperature/air flow/contact area on the drying process to improve the drying speed. Replacing the traditional Roast Idea to dry briquettes by the blow the briquettes with large hot air quantity with less temperature.
l More Safety. Drying temperature (90-150 oC) is far less than the light temperature (400 oC), and control the different hot air quantity and temperature at different area of charcoal briquettes. There is pre-heating layer, drying layer, and warm keeping layer inside dryer to guarante the drying result;
l High Efficiency. Scientific hot air duct and moisture route designing, even the air duct diameter and wind hole are precise designs to extend the heat use ratio.
l Less Fuel and Power Consumption( saving 15%-25%). Compared with traditional roast solution, DMSMAC dryer have less hot air temperature request to short the fuel conspution; Optimized air duct designing, make full use the hot air and space inside dryer, keeping enough air flow inside dryer to guarantee dry conditions.
l Less Briquettes Damage Ratio( less than 5%). Chain plate assembled on dryer, greatly short the drop height,and make full use of dryer space to short the paving thickness(<10cm) of the briquettes on the plate compare with mesh. Mesh belt type dryer damage ratio is 8%-10%, and vertical dryer damage ratio is 10%-15%.
l Solid frame build by 200mm U-steel, reduce the effect by temperatur. And 10cm thickness rock wool insulation layer, reduce the heat lost. 48A standard chain and thickness 4mm plate reinforced by Dia16mm steel bar supply the solid support surface of briquettes.
Value of Dryer:
The dryer is working by 7/24, and no need workers to operate. Output of dried briquettes can be custom-made as client press machine request. Service life can be upto 5-8 years. Greatly suitable for the large-tonnage charcoal plant, especially on the busy season.
Notes: The dryer length, width and layer can be custom-made as client workshop size request.
